The extensive gardens surrounding the cottage are glorious and filled with bird life, so you can sit on the north-facing verandah over looking the forest and truly immerse in nature.
Quick facts
The mill house is wonderful in any season. In winter, after an invigorating walk in the jarrah forest, relax in front of a wood fire with a glass of wine, while a fragrant stew bubbles on the stove. In summer, enjoy a cool drink on the front verandah overlooking the bush, after a day spent exploring the nearby Murray River in Lane Poole Reserve.
