What’s On in The Murray Region

Want to race mountain bikes through the Jarrah forest, listen to live music in a heritage village or marvel at some seriously big pumpkins? You can do all this – and a lot more – in the Murray Region.

Celebration of community is at the heart of everything we do in the Murray Region. Our major towns are located within a short drive of each other, so whether you are staying in Dwellingup or nearby Pinjarra, it’s jus a hop, skip and a jump to experience the diverse personality of our incredible region anytime of the year. Major festivals celebrate music, culture and of course adventure sports. On a smaller scale, but equally as charming are our local community events.  Whether it’s a fresh food market or a family entertainment day, there’s something for everyone and we can’t wait to share our way of life with you.

 

Colourful Festivals

Throughout the year, the communities of the Murray region come together to celebrate heritage and tradition with colourful festivals featuring local artists, great live music and of course, the amazing produce of the region.  It's always a great excuse to get together with friends and celebrate life. Major festivals include the annual Fairbridge Festival in Pinjarra. Quirky and colourful and definitely worth travelling for. See You There!

No-where is far from anywhere in the Murray region, so whether you are staying Dwellingup or one of our neighbouring towns, access to major events is easy.  Dwellingup celebrates all things Mountain Biking annually at the nationally recognised Dwellingup 100 where riders compete for supremacy on the forest tracks.

Nothing shows community spirit more than local events. It's where the true characters of a town come out to play. With so much fresh produce on our doorstep, it's no surprise that we want to show it off. Keep an eye out for local farm open days, produce markets and community events!
