The foreshore and estuaries in the Peel inlet are a haven for Blue Manna crabs. Mandurah is known for endless fun filled days with the family, scooping for these tasty favourites. Try crabbing from a boat, a jetty using drop nets, or wade into the shallows with long-handled scoop nets. Don't miss Crabfest; held every year in March.

Waterside living is one of the major attractions to Mandurah. Dolphins are regularly seen in the canals, diving and playing in front of luxury homes. The canals come to life every Christmas with a fantastic light show. A Christmas Lights Cruise is a great addition to summer holiday, and a memorable family tradition.
