6 Inch Trail Marathon
Inspired by the legendary ‘Six Foot Track Marathon’ in the Blue Mountains of NSW, the 6 Inch Trail Marathon has become one of Western Australia’s most anticipated trail endurance events. First held in January 2005, the race starts in the early morning in North Dandalup, and follows a scenic and challenging route along sections of the Munda Biddi trail, finishing in Dwellingup.
Runners can choose between the full 46km 6-Inch Marathon or the 23.3km 3-Inch Half Marathon, both offering a true taste of WA’s wild terrain.
After crossing the finish line, take time to unwind and explore everything Dwellingup has to offer. Refuel at a local café, cool off with a swim or paddle in the Murray River, or stroll through the town centre. For those planning to stay the night, there’s a great choice of accommodation, from campgrounds in Lane Poole Reserve to cosy forest chalets.
