TALES TO TELL

Step beyond the trails, and you’ll discover a country town rich in history, inspired by a deep connection to culture and strong heritage roots.

Once a thriving timber milling town, early settlers prospered from harvesting the abundant Jarrah, Marri and Blackbutt trees before the industry was brought to a halt following 1961 Dwellingup Bushfires, which razed much of the region.
