A Gallery For The Soul
Lost Eden is a 150 square metre exhibition space, located on the main street of Dwellingup in a lovingly restored 1940’s shop. The gallery is renowned for showcasing a diverse range of artistic expression, primarily through visual arts but also includes sculpture and installation, performance art, projection and music. Whilst experiencing one of Lost Eden's exhibitions, which update frequently, enjoy a tasty treat from the Garden Eats food van. Garden Eats is open Saturday and Sunday and provides fresh healthy food options with a changing menu of vegan and gluten free Asian or Mexican style street food. Sit on the sunny outdoor deck among the quaint garden of the Gallery and be delighted with tasty breakfast options, satisfying lunches, including Massaman Curry and Satay Tofu, or simply a tea or coffee.
Lost Eden is a unique place in the heart of Dwellingup’s village environment that nutures art lovers and aspiring artists alike. In addition to the public gallery, Lost Eden is also an art studio with an ‘Artists in Residency’ program, which allows artists to use studio space and the opportunity to exhibit their works. From time to time, a resident artist may be available to artist talks, workshops, or exhibitions and performances. Visitors may see works in progress, providing an insight into the unique processes of each individual artist and the opportunity to purchase a one-off hand crafted piece. The creative environment at Lost Eden ensures that a visit to the Gallery will be ever changing and as inspired as the art that is created within the walls of this intriguing space. Lost Creative provides 2 accommodation options for artists who may be considering a residency at the Gallery. The Gallery House is a charming, 1940’s art deco shophouse. Fully equipped, the house adjoins the Gallery and includes a light filled studio space and workroom. Close to Dwellingup, The Farm Studio, is a fully contained studio space overlooking a large farm dam with a timber jetty. A stay at the Farm Studio includes use of a fully equipped woodworking workshop.
