Biddi ‘Try-Ride’ to Bidjar

Do you enjoy mountain biking or riding off-road and have always wanted to try the Munda Biddi? Then join us for an intermediate-level Biddi ‘Try-Ride’, in the picturesque jarrah forests of the Murray Valley. Discover the wonders of this trail by following an old timber tram line all the way to Bidjar Nyoulin campsite. Unleash your adventurous cycling spirit with the support of our ride-guide leaders.

Bookings are essential. Grab your tickets online.

Where: Dwellingup (Nanga Brook)
When: Sunday 14 September, 2024 [10am- 2pm] Distance: 28km return
Ride rating: Intermediate
Participants: 20
Age: 18+
Cost: $45 members | $50 non-members
What’s included: Ride guide with some basic ride skills instruction.
What to bring: Bike, helmet, water and trail snacks. If you don’t have a mountain bike, book a bike online at Dwellingup Adventures

 

The Munda Biddi Adventure Cycling Series is a great way to escape the city, get active in the outdoors and tour the backroads on your bike. Picture yourself pedaling on forest trails, farm roads and rail trails, through quaint country towns and staying overnight in unique bush huts between Mundaring and Albany. Bike it the way you like, ride the trail for a day or embark on an epic bikepacking journey.

Bob`s Crossing is currently closed due to the Murray River`s high water levels flooding the access road. Nanga, Stringers and Chuditch campgrounds are still accessible via the the southern entry station to Lane Poole Reserve along Nanga Road.

Seeking something unique? This Sunday, the #Dwellingup CWA country markets is just the place to find it. 🧸🎁🛍

Rummage through the stalls to uncover a range of artisanal items, from charming knitted pieces to detailed woodworks. And if browsing the stalls worked up an appetite, the CWA volunteers are on hand to satisfy hunger pangs with their delicious baked goods, hot soup and toasties. 🍰☕🫕

The markets runs from 8am to 1pm at 23 Newton Street, Dwellingup.🫶
