Nyingarn Bidi Easter Adventure
This Easter, join the Bibbulmun Track on the new Nyingarn Bidi circuit trail. Drawing from the Noongar language, “Nyingarn” translates to echidna, while “Bidi” signifies path or trail. The Nyingarn Bidi is a thoughtfully designed trail that connects with the Bibbulmun Track, creating a three-day, two-night loop walk, which begins and ends in Dwellingup.
Experienced Bibbulmun Track guides will lead you on a remarkable journey where the Murray River rhythmic rapids echo the force of nature and serene pools beckon you for a refreshing dip at the end of a day’s walk. As you traverse the flat, abandoned railway tracks, envision the bygone era when bustling steam trains occupied the very ground beneath your every step. Conversely, the steeper hills that provide a challenge in the Murray River Valley will focus attention on the changing nature of the Australian bush and how well deserved a rest at the next campsite will be.
This adventure unfolds over Easter with nights spent beneath the stars at Chadoora and Swamp Oak Campsites. Each day encompasses a 13km to 20km trek, totaling approximately 50km over the entire walk.
