Hidden within the wilds of Lane Poole Reserve near Dwellingup lies a small adrenaline-fueled network of trails, purpose-built for skilled mountain bikers hungry for a challenge. These steep and technical downhill tracks are built to test your limits, with a mix of blue and black trails, with A-lines and optional double-black features for those daring enough to take them on. The trails at Tom’s Crossing are designed for experienced riders with serious technical skills — are you up for the challenge?
Looking for something a bit less intense? Head across the river to the Murray Valley Mountain Bike Trails, which cater for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders, or try the cross-country style trails closer to Dwellingup town centre.

Moderate Trails (Blue)
Recommended for intermediate riders with some technical mountain biking experience. Typically narrow trail with loose, soft, rocky or slippery sections and hills with short steep sections. Riders will encounter obstacles and technical trail features.
THE LUGE - DISTANCE: 1.5km
The perfect introduction to downhill riding. It’s short, steep descents, extended off-camber sections and fast corners will allow you to hone your skills before progressing to the more difficult trails in the Tom's Crossing Mountain Bike trail network.
SLINGSHOT - DISTANCE: 1.1km
Rough, raw and rowdy! Off-camber, rock drops, slabs, step ups and step downs, Slingshot has everything you need to test and improve your technical riding skills. This trail has A-lines and optional black features.

Difficult Trails (Black) with optional Extreme Trail features (Double Black)
Recommended for experienced riders with good technical skill levels. Trails with variable surfaces and/or steep gradients. Riders will encounter large obstacles and technical trail features.
The black mountain bike trails at Tom's Crossing have double-black and race features recommended for very experienced riders with high level technical skills only. Double-black features have highly variable surfaces, very challenging terrain and/or very steep sections. Riders will encounter committing and unavoidable obstacles and technical trail features that may not be rollable. The A-line is the faster, more difficult line. Please pay attention to all on-trail signage. A sighting lap of all trails is strongly encouraged. Full face helmets and other protective equipment must be worn at all times.
DEVILS PASS - DISTANCE: 1km
You want rock? This trail delivers! Devil's Pass is packed with drops, rock gardens, chutes and slabs… you name it, it has it. Featuring the infamous road gap crossing and plenty of fast, natural features you’ll want to do this one again and again. This difficult trail has A-lines and optional double-black features for those who are able to take the challenge on.
MAYHEM - DISTANCE: 1.4km
Embrace the mayhem and put yourself to the test on this fast, steep and technically challenging trail. With large, unavoidable features, you'll need to pick your line and give it your all. For those who have the skills and ability, you'll find A-lines and optional double-black features.
